Liquid Air Lab GmbH was founded in 2002 by Mikko Linnamäki (CEO) and Tero Katajainen (CTO). The company currently has 3 offices with around 20 employees worldwide:
- Headquarters in Stuttgart, Germany
- Office in Berlin, Germany
- Office in Berkeley, USA

The executive team of Liquid Air Lab:
CEO and Founder
Mikko Linnamäki, originating from Finland, is a serial web-entrepreneur, most recently founding Buchungsmaschine AG, a real-time travel booking engine, which was acquired by Travel24.com in 2000. Prior to that he founded HexMac Software Systems AG in 1993, which was one of the first Internet software companies in Europe. Since 2002 he is owner and CEO of Liquid Air Lab.
CTO
Mikko Linnamäki is backed up by CTO Tero Katajainen (MSc), long-time partner, co-founder and experienced Java Architect.
Senior Vice President USA
Yusuf “Zef” Cheema, SVP of Sales, who recently came from SPRINT, leads the US operations from our Silicon Valley location.
